I think my SV had similar stuff on it stock...41MM diameter at the handle bars.

I keep trying to convince my buddy to take the MSF class. Once he’s hooked on getting a bike, I can sell him the Blast and then I can get something with a little more umph.

I found the SV to be a good jump. fast(er) enough, but not so much to REALYL scare me. + cheap insurance, its wildly regarded as one of the BEST motorcycles ever built, and customization options exsist. .

Yep an SV is on the list. It depends on how much I feel like spending. I do like the FZ-07 but I also have an irrational urge to try and find a Moto Guzzi V7
